Tornado Touched Down In Battle Ground

(Battle Ground, WA) -- Officials are confirming a small tornado touched down in southwestern Washington Monday night. The National Weather Service says a weak EF-0 tornado moved through north Battle Ground around 7 p.m., bringing wind speeds of 65 to 85 miles per hour. The agency says the twister traveled just under four miles and caused some damage, but officials say there was no major damage done to any homes or other buildings. There were no reports of injuries.
