Officer Fires Shot During Arrest In Albany

(Albany, OR) -- An investigation is ongoing into an officer-involved shooting in Albany. The Albany Police Department says a detective fired a shot at a suspect Wednesday night when officers were trying to arrest two people with multiple warrants in the parking lot of Bob's Family Market. The suspects were in a car, and the driver allegedly rammed multiple vehicles. A detective fired one shot, but didn't hit the suspect. No one was hurt. Police arrested 31-year-old Kagen Sandoval and 26-year-old Jaedyn Peck without further incident.
