(Salem, OR) -- Two people are dead following a small plane crash at Salem Airport. Authorities say the plane crashed near the end of the runway Saturday afternoon. Witnesses say the plane was attempting to land when the crash happened. The two people who were killed are identified as 66-year-old Daniel McKenna and 61-year-old Cynthia McKenna of Boring. The NTSB will investigate the cause of the crash.
