(Mt. Angel, OR) -- The Marion County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in its investigation into a fatal New Year's Day shooting in MT. Angel. Police say the victim, who has been identified as 42-year-old Brandon Slack was shot early Monday morning along Pershing Street near Marquam Street. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.
