Construction Paused At PDX Over Safety Concerns

(Portland, OR) -- The opening of the new main terminal at Portland International Airport will be delayed, because of construction safety concerns. The Port of Portland says there have been a couple "close calls" on the job site, so work was paused through Tuesday. They wanted to give the 900 construction workers time to rest and refocus. No one was injured. The main terminal was supposed to open in late May. They have not released a new opening date.
