House Fire Displaces Three Beaverton Residents

(Beaverton, OR) -- Three people and the family dog are safe, after escaping an early morning fire in their Beaverton home Wednesday. It started with multiple 911 calls from neighbors reporting a fire and explosion at the home on Southwest Hargis Road. Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue crews arrived within minutes, and began attacking the heavy flames and smoke billowing from the house. They eventually got the fire under control. A retired TVF&R firefighter who lives in the neighborhood confirmed that all occupants were safely out. They have alternative housing arrangements. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
