(Salem, OR) -- Three people are claiming the 1-point-3 billion Powerball jackpot ticket that was sold in Oregon. Cheng Saephan [[ say-FAWN' ]] and his wife Duanpen are splitting half of the jackpot and a friend, Laiza Chao gets the other half. They took a lump sum, so after taxes they divided 422-million-dollars. Cheng, who goes by Charlie, has been battling cancer for six years and has been on disability. He immigrated to the U.S. 1994 and worked as a machinist making aircraft parts before getting cancer. The first thing he and his wife plan to do is pay for his medical care and buy a house.
