The Oregon Health Authority has released a new data dashboard that shows details about hospital patients. Medicaid was the top source of insurance for both hospital and emergency department care. The average hospital stay was five days longer for people who were discharged to a skilled nursing facility for more care. The primary reason people were treated at an ER was sepsis, a life-threatening blood infection.
