Close windows and blinds during the day. Open windows at night to allow heat to escape. Run appliances like ovens, stoves, dishwashers and clothes dryers at night or early morning. You can also sign up with PGE's Smart Thermostat program which allows the utility to slightly adjust the temperature during peak times.
