>>Man Shot In Hillsboro, Gunman At Large

(Hillsboro, OR)  --  Police are looking for at least one suspect following a shooting in Hillsboro.  Investigators say the shooting happened around eight o'clock last night in the area of Northwest Adams Avenue and Lincoln Street.  The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the chest during an argument with two other men.  Police say both men fled the scene on foot after the shooting.

>>Volunteer Cop Accused Of Severely Beating Four-year-old

(Sheridan, OR)  --  A volunteer police officer from Sheridan is facing charges after being accused of beating and severely injuring a four-year-old boy.  Thirty-four-year-old Michael Abo was arrested at his home Saturday and is charged with four counts of assault and criminal mistreatment.  The boy is being treated at Oregon Health & Science University.  Abo has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

>>Woman Hit By Two Vehicles Identified

(Salem, OR)  --  A woman who was taken to a hospital after being hit by two vehicles on a busy road in Salem is identified as 19-year-old Monica Cebreros [[ suh-BRARE-ohs ]].  Witnesses reported seeing the woman walking in the middle of the traffic lane with her back toward oncoming vehicles on Northeast Hawthorne Avenue near Livingston Street Sunday evening.  Police say after Cebreros was hit by the two vehicles, she was trapped under the second vehicle and was wedged beneath the axle for about 15 minutes before she was freed.  


>>Batum To Play With Splint On Finger

(Tualatin, OR)  --  The Portland Trail Blazers say forward Nicolas Batum [[ bah-TOOM ]] has an avulsion fracture on his left middle finger that will require him to wear a splint for the next six weeks.  Batum suffered the injury during Saturday's game with Philadelphia.  Blazers coach Terry Stotts says CJ McCollum will be activated for tonight's game at Sacramento.  McCollum, who fractured his left foot during practice in early October, played Friday and Saturday with the Blazers' NBA Development League affiliate Idaho.
