(Salem, OR) -- A bill submitted by the Oregon Liquor Control Commission would allow voters to decide whether liquor can be sold in grocery stores across the state. Under the measure, grocery stores larger than ten-thousand square feet would be allowed to sell spirits beginning in March 2015. House and Senate committees hearing testimony on the bill this week are raising concerns about the measure making it easier for teens to have access to liquor. The next legislative session is set to convene February 3rd.
