Rail Problem Blamed For 10-year-old Boy's Fall

(Silverton, OR)  --  A ten-year-old Portland boy remains in intensive care after taking a steep fall at Silver Falls State Park.  Officials say Wilson Pelot [[ PEE-low ]] was hiking with his family Sunday toward Lower South Falls when he leaned against a loose railing and fell about 40 feet into a shallow creek.  The railing had warning tape attached to it by Oregon State Parks personnel.  The department says the railing was damaged by storms earlier this month.
