(Corvallis, OR)  --  Oregon State University officials say the school is eleven months ahead of schedule in meeting its goal of raising one-billion dollars.  President Ed Ray says OSU has raised more than one-point-one-billion and is one of only 35 universities in the country to have exceeded the billion-dollar mark in a fundraising campaign.  The money will be used for scholarships and fellowships, attracting and retaining top-tier faculty, and renovation of campus buildings.
