(Portland, OR)  --  Officials say a suspicious device found in a North Portland field has been deemed harmless.  Portland police say the device was brought to their attention yesterday afternoon after it was seen in the area of North Trenton Street and North Haven Avenue.  Investigators say the device turned out to be a discarded school project.
