A data breach in 2023 led to personal information of nearly seven million people being released. It includes 125 thousand Oregonians. Initially, 23 And Me blamed customers for the breach, but later accepted responsibility. Oregon will get just under 577-thousand-dollars of the settlement. Individuals involved in the class action suit will share an additional 47-million dollars.
