Oregon Secretary Of State On Election Protection

(Portland, OR) -- Oregon Secretary of State Tobias Read says the state's vote-by-mail process is secure, despite claims it is not by President Trump. Read says the President eliminated funding to the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, which had the job of protecting the country from outside threats. He says support to county election offices has also been cut. Read says states run elections and not the White House. He says he will refuse to turn over voter registration information to the federal government that is not publicly available.
