(Fairview, OR) -- Crews have recovered a man's body after he apparently drowned while fishing in the Columbia River near Fairview. The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office says the man was last seen standing in the river near Chinook Landing where he had been fishing with his two nephews yesterday afternoon. One of the boys' lines became tangled on a log and the man tried to free it before he went under. He never resurfaced. His identity has not been released.
