(Portland, OR) - Thousands of Portland General Electric customers are impacted by power outages as extreme heat hits western Oregon. PGE reported more than 83-hundred customers were affected by dozens of outages Wednesday afternoon. The cause of the outages is not known. Some outages affected areas near Washington Square Mall and the Goose Hollow neighborhood in northwest Portland.
