(Portland, OR) -- Portland Fire & Rescue is sending a specialized team to help firefighters battling a wildfire near Sisters. The department says its Rapid Extrication Module Support team will provide emergency medical and rescue support on the fireline. The four-person team is expected to be deployed for seven to 14 days. Officials say the team is trained in technical rescues and advanced emergency medical care for injured wildland firefighters.
