(Portland, OR) -- Portland City Council is moving forward with a plan to restore about 30 jobs and services after budget cuts. The council voted Wednesday to bring back positions involving police support, fire rescue units, public access to precincts and other city services. The 10-to-two vote approved a supplemental budget that uses more than nine-million dollars in city funds. The decision came after debate on how to address staffing cuts for the upcoming fiscal year.
