Vote By Mail Court Action

(Salem, OR) -- Governor Tina Kotek is blasting President Trump's latest attempt to get his vote-by-mail executive order through the courts. The U.S. Justice Department is asking the Supreme Court to toss lower court decisions blocking the President's order that would limit vote-by-mail. Kotek called the move the latest attempt by the President to subvert democracy, silence working people and undermine states' rights, which are clearly outlined in the Constitution. Oregon has relied on mail-in ballots for more than 25 years.
