Trail Blazers Call Moda Center Proposal Non-Starter
(Portland, OR) -- The Portland Trail Blazers say the city's proposal for a future lease and remodeling of the Moda Center is a non-starter. President of Business Operations, Dewayne Hankins, told councilors the process has become adversarial, there are contradictory statements from public officials and there needs to be clarity of who's negotiating. Hankins says there are 20 departures from the original framework. He feels there is time to reset the conversation.
