Tariffs Cost Oregon $442 Million In Lost Revenue
(Salem, OR) -- Tariffs are having a negative impact on Oregon's economy. That's according to a new report compiled by the Office of Economic Analysis, the Oregon Employment Department and Business Oregon. It found the increase in tariffs by the Trump Administration led to a 17 percent reduction in exports and a loss of 442-million-dollars in revenue. Oregon importers paid nearly three-billion-dollars in tariffs between March and December 2025.
