(Portland, OR) -- One person is dead following a shooting in South Portland Tuesday morning. A police officer saw a car crashed into a building near Macadam Avenue and Bancroft Street. At the same time, calls came into 911 about shots fired in the area. The officer found the driver dead. Investigators say it appears the shooting happened while vehicles were at the traffic signal for Bancroft Street. The victim's vehicle rolled down a hit and hit the building. There's no indication the shooting is connected to the nearby ICE building. No arrests have been made.
