(Beaverton, OR) -- The invasive emerald ash borer is expanding its presence in the Portland area. Officials say it's now been found in traps in Beaverton, Bethany Lake Park, Rockcreek, Salem, the Oregon Garden and along the Banks-Vernonia State Trail. The insect is deadly to ash and olive trees.
