(Douglas County, OR) -- There have been two drownings in Oregon this week. A Roseburg man drowned in the North Umpqua River Tuesday at Whistlers Bend Park. While Sheriff's deputies were searching for a 44-year-old man who failed to surface from the river, a group downstream found the man and started CPR, but he died at the scene. In Marion County, a 20-year-old man drowned Tuesday at Scotts Mills Falls. His body was recovered Wednesday morning.
