(Forest Grove, OR) -- An Oregon State Senator was accosted by a confrontational constituent at a community forum on Saturday. Senator Janeen Sollman said she was at an event in Forest Grove when a 28-year-old grabbed her glasses off her face. The man was arrested and later released pending a court appearance. Legislative leaders issued a statement Sunday saying every Oregonian should reject intimidation and violence. While people have the right to disagree with politicians, they said engagement must remain peaceful and respectful.
