(Portland, OR) -- A federal judge has ruled in favor of states trying to block the merger of two large television companies. They filed a motion that claimed the companies violated the judge's order to pause the merger. The judge agreed it was wrong for Nextar to install its own people on TEGNA's board of directors. Nexstar must immediately comply with the court order and turn over documents requested by Oregon and the 12 other states involved in the suit.
