(Eagle Point, OR) -- A mother and her three children were killed in a southern Oregon fire. The Jackson County Sheriff's Office says the family was in a fifth-wheel trailer in Eagle Point when the fire started. One family member escaped with minor injuries. Flames engulfed the trailer before fire crews arrived. Three children, all under the age of ten, died with their mother. Investigators believe the fire was a tragic, non-criminal accident, although the cause remains under investigation.
