(Portland, OR) -- The City of Portland is starting construction on two projects that will upgrade street space for walking, gathering and celebrating Darcelle 15 and the LGBTQ+ community. Darcelle Promenade will get new artwork and lighting. It celebrates the legendary Portland performer who ran Darcelle 15 Showcase. The Promenade will create a visual connection between SW Harvey Milk Street, the Flock Food Hall at SW Ninth Avenue and Alder Street.
