(The Dalles, OR) -- Half a dozen homes are destroyed along with 15 outbuildings as the Grasshopper Fire continues to grow in Wasco County. The County Sheriff's Office says six homes and 15 outbuildings have been destroyed so far and that number may rise. Winds caused the fire to expand quickly on Tuesday. The Sheriff's Office says they will do damage assessment when it's safe to go into the fire zone. Their top priority is the safety of residents, firefighters and emergency personnel.
