Inmate Sentenced For Illegal Car Sale

(Oregon City, OR) -- A man is facing two years behind bars after allegedly trying to make bail by selling a car he didn't own. A Clackamas County judge sentenced Isaiah Mohr yesterday to two years in prison. Mohr was in jail for a mail theft case when he devised a plan to sell a car his cellmate was driving, but didn't own, when he was arrested. It was in an impound lot. Mohr conspired with his girlfriend to forge an ownership document, so she could get the vehicle. The jail monitored calls between Mohr and his girlfriend where they discussed the plan.
