(Portland, OR) -- Police are asking witnesses of a fatal shooting in Southeast Portland early Saturday morning to come forward. The shooting happened near Southeast Water Avenue and Caruthers Street. Three people were shot. Police found one person at the scene who was taken to a hospital by ambulance. Another shooting victim was in a car at a nearby gas station. That person died at the scene. A third patient was taken to a hospital in a private vehicle. That person is expected to survive. Police are asking anyone with photos or video of the shooting to upload them to their website.
