Red Pandas Getting To Know Each Other
(Portland, OR) -- The Oregon Zoo's two new red pandas are taking time to get acquainted. Since late June, they've been in the same space, but haven't interacted very much. The first time Liu and Enoki met, Enoki curled up and slept most of the entire morning. They sleep about two-thirds of the day. Since then, they've been spending more time together. Zoo staff are hoping they expand their relationship and have offspring to increase the population of the endangered species.
