Tree Removal Work Planned At Honeyman State Park in Florence

(Florence, OR) -- Honeyman State Park on the Oregon Coast will close for at least a month early next year for tree removal. There are 150 dead or unhealthy trees in the park. Most of the trees are in the campground areas. They expect the work will be done in January, but specific dates haven't been set. Some of the logs will be used to improve stream habitat for fish.
