(Vancouver, WA) -- The Interstate Bridge Replacement project has started the process to identify potential contractors. The company will design and build two new single-level, fixed-span bridges connecting to Interstate 5. There will be three through lanes and one auxiliary lane. There will also be room for bus-on-shoulder service, light rail on the southbound span and a shared-use path on the northbound span. Contractors will submit proposals in November. A selection will be made in 2027 with construction starting in 2028.
