(Oak Grove, OR) -- A stolen iPad led Clackamas County Sheriff's deputies to arrest a theft suspect. A man who had his home burglarized by a person wearing a UPS vest and a black face covering called 9-1-1 to report he tracked the location of his iPad. Deputies identified the suspect as 33-year-old John Auer Jr. When they searched his apartment, they found the iPad and several other items, including three guitars, an amplifier, prescription medications, power tools and banking documents belonging to the victim. They also seized items stolen from other people. Auer is charged with burglary, theft and resisting arrest.
