OHSU Psilocybin Study
(Portland, OR) -- New research shows promise for Oregon's psilocybin treatment industry. A study on Oregon and Colorado's psilocybin treatment clinics finds they're safe and the results are promising. The results of the Oregon Health Science University study show patient reactions three months after treatment. Seventy-five percent of the patients reported improvement in PTSD, anxiety and depression symptoms. About a quarter of the patients said their overall feeling of wellbeing improved. One percent of the patients had an adverse reaction that required medical intervention. The study continues to follow the patients to examine the effects over the long-term.
