(Portland, OR) -- Three people were arrested Friday night in Portland on firearms charges. Police working the "Summer Cool Down" firearms mission stopped a car and arrested one person for a previous warrant. Officers saw guns in the car and the driver fled. Police didn't pursue the vehicle. The Air Unit followed the car until it crashed near Southeast 26th and Ankenny Street. The suspects ran into the neighborhood. Two people were arrested. A third suspect escaped.
