(Portland, OR) -- A new study ranks Washington at the bottom of the pack when it comes to the hardest working states in America. The WalletHub report released Monday ranks Oregon as the 49th hardest working state in the nation. WalletHub looked at several metrics to get the results, including work hours, employment, vacation time, second jobs, how much time workers spend commuting and how much free time they have each day. Michigan came in 50th place as the least hardworking state. South Dakota ranked first, followed by North Dakota in second and Alaska in third.
