Oregon Cattle Ranchers Criticize President Trump

(Salem, OR) -- Oregon cattle ranchers are critical of President Trump's decision to cut tariffs on foreign beef to bring down prices. The Oregon Farm Bureau calls the decision deeply disappointing. The group posted on Facebook that ranchers already face high feed, fuel, labor and replacement costs, along with drought and wildfire pressures. They call it a knee-jerk government decision and say flooding the market with discounted beef is difficult to reconcile with an 'American First' agenda.
