(Salem, OR) -- State Attorney General Dan Rayfield is fighting back against the Supreme Court's ruling on voting by mail. Rayfield says he plans to sue the Trump administration if the U.S. Postal Service interferes with vote by mail. The U.S. Supreme Court issued a narrow ruling concerning the President's executive order on mail voting yesterday, ruling that the initial lawsuit is premature. The ruling allows agencies to compile a list of confirmed U.S. citizens eligible to vote in each state. Rayfield says he'll be watching the Postal Service and if they take illegal action, he'll challenge it in court.
