(Portland, OR) -- Details of the investigation into the Portland Police response to the racial justice demonstrations in 2020 have yet to be released. The Reverend Dr. LeRoy Haynes is part of a coalition calling on the city to release a full report. Last week, the mayor's office released a memo stating allegations of inadequate training were not substantiated. The group is also calling for the Office of Community-based Police Accountability, which was approved by voters in 2022, to be fully put into effect.
