(Estacada, OR) -- Oregon lawmakers are warning of firefighter fatigue as wildfires expand in Mount Hood National Forest. Yesterday, Representative Maxine Dexter and Senator Jeff Merkley visited Estacada fire camp, where they spoke with fire crews. Dexter said she's worried about the toll the season is taking on firefighters and whether there will be enough people available to continue fighting fires as the season progresses. Merkley said the threat is particularly concerning given Oregon's history with devastating wildfires.
