(Portland, OR) -- Portland Saturday Market and Pacific Pug Rescue are teaming up for the second annual Pugapalooza. The event at the Portland Saturday Market will feature a pug movie themed contest called "The Barkbuster Movies-Themed Prettiest Pug Pageant." It will take center stage at 11 am. The dogs will be competing for two titles - "Portland's Prettiest Pug" and the audience selected "People's Choice." Online registration has closed, but organizers say spots will be kept open for dogs who show up Saturday morning. Contestant check-in is from 10:15 am until 10:45 am. Proceeds from the event will go to Pacific Pug Rescue.
