(Portland, OR) -- Up to twenty Portland Schools could face consolidation or closure due to budget challenges. District officials say this could result in additional layoffs. Superintendent Dr. Kimberlee Armstrong said the district expects to face up to 65-million-dollars in reductions. The district will review consolidation data and present information to the school board on September first.
