(Seattle, WA) -- A former Microsoft employee accused of leaking trade secrets to a tech blogger is facing federal criminal charges. Investigators allege that Alex Kibkalo stole Windows 8 code and leaked it to the blogger in mid-2012 while he was working for Microsoft. SeattlePI.com reports the FBI is also accusing Kibkalo of bragging about leaking Windows 7 program files, as well as an internal system designed to protect against software piracy. Kibkalo, who's a Russian national, is charged with theft of trade secrets.
