(Portland, OR) -- Multnomah County officials have unanimously approved the county's first ever climate justice plan. The plan establishes a 10-year timeline for protecting residents from severe climate change. Among other features, it will aggressively lower carbon emissions by 50 percent below 1990 levels and achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions levels by 2050.
