(Portland, OR) -- A serial robbery suspect who stole from Portland area Plaid Pantry stores 39 times is pleading guilty. Court records show 55-year-old Timothy Jones entered the guilty plea last week. Prosecutors say Jones would walk behind the counter and fill bags with tobacco products. In several instances, he stole more than a thousand dollars in merchandise. He was arrested multiple times and continued robbing convenience stores. Under his plea deal, he'll spend more than six years in prison.
