(Tualatin, OR) -- Lam Research has broken ground on a major addition to its facilities in Tualatin. The company is making its biggest investment in the state to date. It's part of a three-billion-dollar investment in its global lab network. 400 jobs will be added. Lam plans to make the new facility one of its most advanced labs in the world. Lam makes computer chips and the new facility will focus on advanced AI chips.
